Origin & Age

This modern kilim was crafted in Central Asia between 2015 and 2025, continuing a long lineage of regional weaving practices rooted in Oriental and tribal traditions. Though recently produced, its earthy palette and motif language draw directly from vintage Anatolian and Persian influences. It reflects how contemporary artisans preserve heritage through practical home décor.

Style & Design Details

The rug features an elegant combination of grey and brown tones, woven into symmetrical geometric and zigzag patterns. The design is grounded in traditional tribal structure, yet softened by a muted, modern palette. Ideal for living rooms or larger spaces, it brings balance and understated sophistication to neutral or rustic interiors.

Care & Maintenance

Use a vacuum with gentle suction and no rotating brush for regular care. Keep away from prolonged sunlight e x posure and damp conditions. A rug pad is recommended to prevent movement and e x tend longevity. Deep cleaning should be handled by professionals familiar with flatweaves to preserve the wool te x ture and colours.

Craft & Material

Handwoven from wool using the flatweave kilim technique, this rug displays e x pert loomwork and natural fibre handling. The geometric patterns are precisely spaced and dyed using soft, neutral pigments. Its structure is tight yet fle x ible, allowing for durability in high-traffic areas while retaining its handmade appeal.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Client Testimonials & Success Stories with Our Premium Rugs

We have a beautiful Afghan

We have a beautiful Afghan, silk rug that after 30+ years was showing wear across the end fringing. From my first engagement with the Pars Rug Gallery team I could not have been happier. I received an accurate assessment, professional clean and excellent repair – at, what I regard to be, a very fair price. I was kept appraised throughout of the progress of the work. My much loved rug now looks fantastic – thank you to the Pars Rug Gallery team.

From start to finish it was very easy

From start to finish it was very easy to work with the company. I have a large 12ftx 9ft rug that needed a very deep clean and moth treatment. It was recommended to also have some mending done which I hadn’t thought of and WOW! What an amazing repair job!!!! Incredible!!!! I am 110% satisfied with the service and price and look forward to enjoying my rug for many years!

Excellent restoration

From first contacting Pars Rug Gallery to seeing photos of the work in progress and then the final result, it has been a wonderful experience. When Arash came to see our family’s old Persian rug, it was in a sorry state with badly worn patches and edges missing. He was able to tell us all about it and explain in detail the work that could be done to restore it. After 5 months, the work has been completed and I am delighted with the result. The rug is beautiful with the true workmanship and colours now revealed.
